Symptoms

I have installed the trial version of PitStop Pro, but it turns out that this is not the software I need and I'd like to uninstall it.

Background

PitStop Pro is a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Solution

Uninstalling PitStop Pro on Windows:

• First deactivate your license. You can do this via the PitStop Pro About Panel.
  (You can ignore this if you are using a trial.)
• Go to Start/ Settings/ Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs/
• Select PitStop Pro and choose to uninstall it.

Uninstalling PitStop Pro on Mac:

• First deactivate your license. You can do this via the PitStop Pro About Panel.
  (You can ignore this if you are using a trial.)
• Remove the following folder:
  If you are using PitStop Pro 13 or lower:
  /Applications/Adobe/Adobe Acrobat <version> Pro/Adobe Acrobat Pro.app/Contents/Plug-ins/Enfocus
  (You can open Adobe Acrobat Pro.app by right clicking and choosing 'Show Package Contents'.)
  If you are using PitStop Pro 13, update 1 or higher:
  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/<version>/Plug-ins/Enfocus
  

If you only want to remove PitStop Pro, then the above steps are sufficient. If you want to install an older version of PitStop Pro, please also follow the next steps:

When I do the messagesthen sync.Right clicking on the account and selecting'Synchronise Now' from the context menu does nothing.In comparison I have Office 2010 and Office 365 on two other windows machines with the same accounts configured and they both sync fine. On restart Outlook complains the password is incorrect and prompts me to change it. Microsoft exchange email web access. However when logging in online to Outlook.com webmail the messages are there.The only way I can get it to sync the missing messages is to put garbage in the password field of the affective account and shutdown and restart Outlook.

• Open menu Go in Finder and choose the option “Go to Folder…”
• Type in the following path:
  /var/db/receipts/
  and press the Go button.
• Search for files named like this and remove them (if available):
  com.enfocus.PitStopPro.bom
  com.enfocus.PitStopPro.plist
• Open the following folder in Finder:
  /Library/Application Support/Enfocus/Applications/Installed/
• Search for a file named like this and remove it (if available):
  PitStopPro<version nr>.man
• Empty the trash bin.
